BACKGROUND

Finger Foods is the quirky neighborhood snack shop for everyone who is still a kid at heart.

Finger Foods is a fictional store created as a student project. I built it from the ground up, including concept, branding, mobile website, and physical store design.

Finger Foods invites you to feed your inner kid. Let the certified snack experts do the work. Finger Foods is the snacktopia you didn’t know you needed.

Snacks! Snacks! Snacks!

Featuring a permanent store location, mobile food truck, and care package delivery, Finger Foods will make sure you are able to get snacks wherever you go.

Introducing the Finger Foods Store

Located near a college campus, the Finger Foods store caters primarily to college kids with a secondary focus of local families.

Approach
With outdoor seating and an instagrammable mural, Finger Foods announces its presence loud and clear to anyone walking past.

Introduction
Visitors are offered the option to take-out from the walk-up ordering window or dine inside.

Dine-In
Visitors can order prepared food from the bar and grab candy from the rack while they’re at it.

Upstairs
Upstairs features extra seating as well as a check-out area for those looking for packaged snacks.

Care Package Area
Through Finger Foods, customers can send a snack care package. This area showcases two popular boxes; however, customers are able to create a custom box as well.

In order to create this business, I mapped out my target persona, created a moodboard, ideated logos, set brand guidelines, and created a minifesto.

REFLECTION
MY TAKEAWAYS
  • This was my first time designing a digital interface. I thoroughly enjoyed it, particularly with such a whimsical brand that I got to create.
  • I carried through the lessons I learned about user interface design into the website you are viewing currently.
  • This project taught me a lot about applying brand identity to all aspects of a brand and being consistent with tone and voice.
